After the Election

A dark day in America. The unbelievable happened. Donald Trump was reelected. And I along with so many of my like minded friends are stunned into silence. And of course, right away the question is how do we go forward? What can you do when you can control the larger narrative? But I can control how I react, of course. What occurs to me this morning is that I have an unusual set of tools and skills that can be offered constructively. I can’t race out unreflectively! But I certainly can a narrative going forward to bring open optimism to people. And a large part of that is to resist the demonization of people who went in another direction. This is such a large issue. It’s about the very vision of our country. And that is not an isolated notion, but is connected to all of the larger issues affecting the entire world. I can be a voice of calm and healing for people who are undone. Let’s start today with thinking writing and planning. But what an amazing situation that I have found this new path forward using my website and it’s outputs. I have an unusual platform that I can use constructively. It’s the same inspiration. I have had these past couple of weeks. And this inspiration is directly from the Holy Spirit. Only now I can recalibrate with the voices with the messages will be going forward. What an opportunity I have. Proceed with patience, grace, and a temperate spirit. Keep going in prayer and waiting the Spirit’s guidance, step-by-step and day by day. Focus on the podcast and also conversations with others. I might want to do a podcast with Whit, who is so knowledgeable and aware of this very issue. I will let God be my guide and focus on my life here at home with my Sally Lord please continue to empower Sally. And guide me in very clear and vivid ways I beseech you! In Jesus name amen.
