Clinical Supervision

Anyone wanting to practice in the field of mental health aspires to get the training and the license to be in business. I have been a therapist in a variety of settings for several decades. But I never went through the arduous process of becoming licensed in any of the states I have lived: not in New York, California, New Jersey, or Indiana. Shame on me. But I was never in one place long enough to acculate the supervised treatment hours necessary. But now I am and will begin the process starting in a week. This is because I have made a shift to becoming a working therapist going forward. And I am enthused for the career shift and return. I look forward to the work, the challenges and the gift of the profession!
